We are not a consumer marketplace.

Shoonu is currently focused on the U.S. wholesale and liquidation market, starting with key regions where liquidation and resale activity is already strong. As we grow, we will expand our verified network of buyers, sellers and logistics partners across more locations.

You can apply to join as a seller by completing our onboarding form. We will ask for basic business details and any supporting information we need to verify your account. Once approved, we help you get your first inventory listed and ready for buyers.

Buyers also go through a simple verification process. We ask for company information and may request additional checks depending on your expected deal size and activity. This helps keep the network serious and reduces time wasted on non-committed accounts.

Yes. Shoonu is for registered businesses only. You will be asked for business details during onboarding and may be asked to provide proof.

Most deals follow a similar structure:

1. Seller shares or lists inventory. The seller provides key information that a serious buyer needs to know, such as type of goods, condition, quantity and packaging.
2. Buyer reviews, asks questions and joins a video call. The buyer can send questions and then join a video call inside Shoonu where the seller walks through the stock in their warehouse.
3. Video verification of stock. On the video call, the seller shows pallets and boxes, labels, branding and packaging, and visible condition or known issues. The buyer can ask for close ups and clarifications. By the end of the call, the buyer should have a clear view of what they are buying.
4. Terms are agreed. Buyer and seller agree price, quantity, condition, logistics responsibilities and timing. These terms are confirmed inside Shoonu.
5. Buyer pays into escrow. The buyer pays the agreed amount into escrow via our payment partner. Funds are secured before stock moves.
6. Stock is picked up and shipped. A shipping company or logistics provider collects the goods from the seller and delivers them to the buyer, based on the agreed terms.
7. Funds are released from escrow. If the shipment matches what was shown and agreed, and there is no valid dispute under our rules, the escrow releases payment to the seller.

On Shoonu, video calls are not just about identity. They are a core verification tool for the stock itself.

During a Shoonu video call, the seller:

- Walks the buyer through the warehouse or storage area
- Shows pallets, boxes and product labels
- Shows visible condition and any obvious defects
- Answers questions about quality, branding, expiry dates where relevant and how stock is packed

The aim is that before the buyer commits funds to escrow, they have seen the stock with their own eyes and are satisfied with the type of goods, the visible condition and the way the goods are packed and stored.

If the buyer is satisfied on the call and then proceeds, this becomes a key piece of evidence if there is a dispute later.

Shoonu is designed to support recorded deal related video calls, in line with our Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy.

Recordings may be used to show:

- What stock the seller actually showed
- What the buyer saw and asked about
- Whether any concerns were raised before the deal was finalised

If the buyer clearly accepted the condition and nature of the goods during the video call, and the shipment matches what was shown and agreed, this strongly supports releasing funds from escrow to the seller and protects the seller from false or unfair quality claims.

We strongly recommend, and may in some cases require, video calls for:

- New counterparties you have not traded with before
- High value or complex mixed loads
- Any situation where condition or composition could be questioned later

Where video calls are mandatory for platform protection to apply, this will be made clear in our Terms and Conditions and in the deal workflow.

Shoonu uses an escrow model to reduce payment fraud and non payment:

- The buyer pays the agreed amount into escrow.
- The funds are held securely by our payment partner.
- Once the agreed conditions of the deal are met, the funds are released to the seller.

This gives both sides more confidence that the deal will be completed as agreed.

Payment is normally released from escrow when:

- The agreed quantity has been collected or delivered, and
- There is no valid dispute under our rules, and
- The shipment matches what was shown and agreed during the verification stage, including the video call.

If the evidence shows that the stock that left the seller’s warehouse matches what was shown on the video call, and the logistics documents confirm the agreed quantity was collected, then the seller is strongly protected and payment will generally be released, even if the buyer later changes their mind without a valid reason.

The exact release rules are governed by our Terms and Conditions and the escrow provider’s terms.

Shoonu uses a transparent fee structure. Fees may include a platform fee on successful deals and escrow or payment processing costs from our payment partner. The exact fees and who pays them, buyer, seller or split, will be shown clearly before you confirm a transaction.

We look at where the issue has arisen:

1. Before pickup at the seller’s warehouse.
    The buyer can see the stock on the video call. The seller should be honest about condition and show any visible issues. If the buyer is not happy, they should say so at this stage and either walk away or agree new terms.
2. At pickup by the shipping company.
    The carrier usually confirms the number of pallets or packages collected and signs a collection note or bill of lading. This is evidence of what physically left the warehouse. The carrier does not typically open every box or check every unit; their role is mainly quantity and basic handover.
3. At delivery to the buyer.
    The buyer or their warehouse checks the number of pallets or boxes received and should note any visible transit damage on the delivery paperwork and capture photos.

When a dispute is raised, Shoonu may review the video call recording, the messages and documents exchanged on the platform, the carrier paperwork for pickup and delivery, and any photos, manifests or other evidence.

If the evidence shows that the stock that left the seller’s warehouse matches what was shown on the video call, and the carrier documents confirm the correct quantity was picked up, then the seller is normally entitled to payment from escrow. Any damage that occurred in transit may fall under shipping or insurance issues, depending on the agreed terms.

No. In most cases, the shipping company:

- Confirms the number of pallets or packages collected and delivered
- Handles transport and handover

They do not normally open every carton, inspect each individual unit or guarantee product quality.

That is why Shoonu gives such weight to video call verification before money moves, clear descriptions and manifests, and escrow with a structured dispute process for when something genuinely does not match what was agreed.

Shoonu does not run trucks or warehouses. Instead, we integrate with logistics partners and support finding suitable shipping options for pallets, truckloads and containers, and building shipping into the deal flow rather than leaving it to the last minute. Available options may vary by location, type of stock and deal size.

Buyer and seller agree shipping responsibilities as part of the deal. For example, the seller may arrange shipping and the buyer pays, the buyer may arrange shipping directly, or costs may be built into the agreed price. Whatever is decided will be confirmed inside Shoonu and forms part of the deal terms.

Responsibility for transit damage depends on the shipping terms you agreed, when risk passes from seller to buyer, and any shipping insurance in place, as well as evidence of how the goods left the warehouse compared to how they arrived.

Shoonu’s dispute process will look at video call evidence for condition before pickup, carrier documents and any photos and delivery notes. In many cases, if the goods clearly left the seller in the agreed condition and were damaged on the way, the issue may sit with the logistics or insurance side rather than the seller.

Shoonu conducts checks on both buyers and sellers, which may include business registration and identity information, trade references or history, and additional checks for higher risk or higher value activity. Verification is there to support trust and reduce time wasted on non- serious or bad-faith users.

If you choose to move a conversation off the platform and complete the deal outside Shoonu’s escrow, messaging and video tools, you may lose escrow protection, access to Shoonu’s dispute resolution support and the benefit of in platform evidence such as messages and call recordings.

For your own protection, we strongly recommend keeping communication, video calls and payments inside Shoonu and not bypassing the platform once contact has been made.

Shoonu provides the platform, tools and services, including escrow, communication, support and integrations. The underlying contract for the sale of goods is generally between buyer and seller, subject to Shoonu’s Terms and Conditions and the escrow provider’s terms. Please refer to those Terms for the precise legal position.

Shoonu is a wholesale and liquidation marketplace. Inventory should normally be in bulk, such as pallets or lots. We are not a B2C site for one off consumer purchases.

Yes. Certain categories are prohibited or restricted, including illegal or stolen goods, dangerous or improperly handled hazardous materials, and counterfeit or infringing products. The full list is set out in our Terms and Conditions and related policies.

You can contact us through the support or contact form on the website, or via in platform support once you are logged in. We can help with onboarding, deal questions, disputes and general platform issues.

No. This FAQ is for guidance only. It does not replace or override Shoonu’s Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy or the terms of any escrow or payment partners. If there is any conflict, those documents always take priority.

Shoonu is designed to protect brands, channels and pricing. Many liquidation and wholesale businesses do not want their full client list, warehouse details or pricing structure exposed.

By default, other users see:

• Whether you are a Verified Buyer or Verified Seller
• Your main categories and regions
• High-level track record (such as deals completed or dispute rate)

They do not see your direct email, phone number, or full legal company details inside the app. Communication and video calls are handled inside Shoonu so both sides can trade safely without giving away their entire address book.

Although profiles appear partially anonymous, Shoonu verifies users behind the scenes. This may include:

• Business registration and identity checks
• Trade references or past trading history
• Additional checks for higher-value or higher-risk activity

On the front end, Shoonu shows trust signals such as:

• Verified Buyer / Verified Seller badges
• Deals completed and dispute history
• Main categories and regions traded

This is similar to other marketplaces where identity is verified privately, while usernames, badges and ratings are shown publicly. The aim is to balance privacy with trust and transparency.

In most cases, buyers and sellers do not need each other’s direct contact details. The entire deal can be handled inside Shoonu, including chat, video verification of stock, escrow payments and dispute handling.

Where local regulations, logistics or documentation require legal details (for example, on invoices or shipping documents), those details may be exchanged as part of the formal transaction. This is done in a controlled way and does not give the other party unrestricted access to your private contact details.

If you move the deal off Shoonu and switch to direct payment or private chat, you may lose:

• Escrow protection and support from Shoonu and our payment partners
• The benefit of video call recordings and message history as evidence
